Design and style foundation for social media communication:
The briefing was to create a visual style that could be easily adapted to various formats and work well in motion graphics. I proposed something simple—perhaps not highly innovative—but very functional and, of course, perfectly aligned with the client’s already established brand identity.
The idea was to consistently use images and elements that evoke bygone times, combined with contemporary visual components, conveying a sense of tradition that remains alive.
The key visual resource for this identity is the use of photographs and paper textures, with a handcrafted, DIY (do it yourself) aesthetic. When animated, the motion is sharp, brief, and fast, reminiscent of stop motion. If audio is included, it should evoke work-related sounds such as scratching, tearing, and cutting.
The result is a visually appealing and modern look that conveys a touch of nostalgia, evoking the product’s centuries-old tradition.
